TAPI pipeline: December build

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, stated that the TAPI pipeline project will be installed on 25 December 2015, with its gas supply beginning its flow in another 3 - 4 years.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has stated that the pipeline will help overcome the gas shortage. However, the government is said to increase consumer gas prices by 6%, effective from September.

State owned Turkmengaz Company is leading the group for the TAPI pipeline, overseeing construction, finance, and the operation of the project.
