Under a reciprocal arrangement, Mainticare will establish an office in Aberdeen, which will extend the services provided by Mainticare to UK clients operating offshore North Africa, and in the Mediterranean area.

With exploration activity continuing to grow and operators faced with pressures to increase efficiencies and reduce costs, our association with Viking Moorings will ensure that we are very well placed to embrace the challenges the future brings.”
The Western, Central and Eastern Mediterranean is continuing to see an increase in offshore exploration with a number of energy companies in the region. As of September 2009, there were 16 offshore drilling rigs working in the waters of both the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
