Paradigm has announced that Turkish Petroleum (TP), the national oil company of the Republic of Turkey and a long-time Paradigm customer, has added Paradigm Reverse Time Migration (RTM) to its product portfolio. The Reverse Time Migration is often the imaging solution of choice in subsurface areas characterised by complex geology and complementary complex wave propagation phenomena. This selection complements other seismic imaging solutions from Paradigm used by TP.
"We were very impressed by the high quality of the seismic images attained using the Paradigm Reverse Time Migration, as well as by its ease of use", said Mehmet Mutafcilar, Data Processing Manager of TP. "We have been using Paradigm solutions for many years in our data processing centre, and we trust its technology. We have great confidence that Paradigm RTM will give us the same high quality results as the rest of our Paradigm products."
Paradigm RTM is a preferred solution for imaging seismic data in areas of complex wave phenomena. It easily handles the most severe combinations of structural dip with high velocity contrast that are found in many of TP's exploration basins.
