Renewable energy systems producer Enexor Bioenergy is dedicating US$5 million toward the opening of a new production plant in Franklin, Tennessee, a release issued by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) revealed. The firm also plans to hire 50 workers to staff the site.
“Enexor is very excited to move into our new 40 000 ft.2 manufacturing facility. Franklin is the perfect place for us to continue recruiting great people and manufacturing our clean energy product. Enexor is thinking globally, which is another reason why the state of Tennessee is the prime location to grow in,” said Enexor’s founder and chief executive officer, Lee Jestings, in a statement.
Slated to become operational later this year, the firm’s facility in Franklin will it will carry out prototyping, testing, and manufacturing of a renewable energy system. The technology processes organic and biomass waste into electricity and water. Products produced at the site will sold in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
