CVC DIF, the infrastructure business of leading global private markets manager CVC, has completed the acquisition of the Gabriela project, a utility scale hybrid PV-BESS energy project located in Northern Chile, from Grenergy, a Spanish multinational clean energy producer. The transaction, first announced in September 2025, was structured to complete once the project reached its commercial operation date. As the solar-plus-storage facility has reached this milestone, Gabriela joins CVC DIF’s global portfolio.
The completed project comprises 272 MW of installed solar capacity and 1100 MWh of battery storage, and is backed by a signed 15-year, USD-denominated, inflation-indexed hybrid power purchase agreement (PPA). It also benefits from Chile’s supportive regulatory framework for storage investments.
