Greencells Group, one of Europe's leading EPC service providers for utility scale solar power plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS), has completed and handed over the 40 MWp Crays Hall Farm solar park in Essex, the UK, to Aukera Energy. The plant has reached commercial operation and is now generating approximately 40 GWh/y of clean energy.

The project was delivered under a turnkey EPC scope, on a technically demanding site with significant environmental and logistical constraints. Greencells will continue to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant.

Crays Hall Farm marks the latest collaboration between Greencells and Aukera Energy, strengthening a partnership that has delivered multiple projects in the UK.

The UK remains one of Greencells' core European markets. With over 767 MWp across 55 projects, the company has established itself as one of the most experienced EPC partners for utility scale solar and BESS in the country. Active in the UK since 2014, Greencells continues to see strong demand from developers and investors looking for reliable project delivery.

Fabian Herr, CEO of Greencells Group, commented: “The UK has been central to our growth in the past years. Our approach of combining technical excellence, scalable execution, and strong partnerships is what makes projects like Crays Hall Farm possible. Our collaboration with Aukera Energy is a great example of that. We look forward to continuing this path together.”
