Global Wind Services has commenced offshore preassembly support for the Windanker project in Germany.
The project includes 21 SG 14.0-236 DD wind turbines with a total capacity of 300 MW. Turbine components are undergoing preassembly at offshore Terminal North in the Port of Mukran/Sassnitz, preparing them for the next stages of offshore installation.
Global Wind Service is bringing its experienced teams and technical expertise to support the preparation of towers, nacelles, and other offshore wind turbine components. The work demands close co-ordination, deep technical knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and efficient project delivery.
Jacob Dehlbaek, Offshore Divisional Director at Global Wind Service, noted: “Windanker is another important offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea region, and we are pleased to support Siemens Gamesa with our preassembly experience.
