Following the release of the company’s updated Clean Energy Plan, leaders from Consumers Energy, the state of Michigan and the city of Cadillac have announced a new solar plant in Michigan, US.

The company's new platform, Nazca Renovables, will be made up of six wind and solar farms and may look to integrate energy storage.

The company states that the US solar industry must take action to mitigate wildfire risk this summer.

Atlas Renewable Energy’s Lar do Sol-Casablanca II project will have an installed capacity of 239 MWp and will provide solar energy to Unipar’s factories in Brazil.
