The companies have teamed up to develop projects with floating wind power technology, which will help to reach the targets set out in Spain’s Law on Climate Change and Energy Transition.
Wärtsilä will provide the steerable and tunnel thrusters for two new wind farm turbine installation vessels being built for the China Three Gorges Corporation.
The companies will work to advance bp’s global offshore wind portfolio and in-house offshore wind knowledge.
