Turkish wind farm receives EBRD loan

Turkey’s renewable energy production is receiving a boost with a European Bank for Reconstruction and Development loan of US$37 million to finance the expansion of the Kiyikoy wind farm.

Hellenic Cables to supply cables for Mayflower Wind project

Cenergy Holdings has announced that its subsidiary Hellenic Cables has reached an agreement with Semco Maritime A/S for the supply of inter-array cables for the Mayflower Wind project, a joint venture of Shell New Energies US LLC and EDPR Offshore North America LLC.

 
 

EDF Renewables announces plans for new Welsh wind farm

EDF Renewables (EDF R) has announced plans to develop a wind farm called Garn Fach in partnership with 14 local farming families. The wind farm which will be located south of Newtown, Powys, Wales.
