Turboden secures a contract for their Turboden organic rankine cycle (ORC) heat recovery plant in Taiwan.
The new ORC plant will recover saturated steam at low pressure from biomass fuel to produce 10 MW electricity.
Turboden has worked closely with the final customer to understand the specific requirements to engineer the most efficient ORC unit and to ensure good economic feasibility for the entire project, in full respect of the local regulations.
The high conversion efficiency of the ORC (very suitable for low temperature sources), the reliability and the experience of the company, will ensure a secure income from the sale of electric energy throughout the power plant life.
