Vimab Group's subsidiary, VIM Energy Systems AB, has won a contract for a battery park worth approximately SEK 190 million. The order concerns the manufacture and delivery of a battery storage park in Moldova. The customer is Esco-Voltaj SRL and concerns delivery to the state-owned company CET-Nord. VIM Energy has now won contracts for battery parks worth approximately SEK 210 million so far in 3Q26.

The new facility is an important step for VIM Energy's presence in the Eastern European market. The project includes the design, delivery, installation and commissioning of complete energy storage.

This is the second order from the region in a short time, where the company has also signed a smaller agreement for the delivery of battery systems to Albania in a pilot project with an order value of SEK 22 million. VIM Energy now has projects equivalent to 160 MWh outside Sweden, and during the summer completed the 50 MWh battery park in Sweden that was announced in the press in 2025.

Payment for the order follows the milestones of the commitment, of which the first payment is made in connection with the signing of the agreement and placing the order. The new battery storage park is expected to be completed in 1Q27.

“With this order, VIM Energy consolidates its position as a leading supplier of turnkey battery systems in Sweden and Eastern Europe. VIM Energy has been working on the Eastern European market for several years, and we are now seeing that the work is bearing fruit,” said Peter Fredell, CEO of Vimab Group.
