Geothermal Engineering Limited has obtained £15 million funding from Kerogen Capital and Thrive Renewables PLC to advance both the flagship project at the United Downs site in Cornwall and its Geogen geothermal development portfolio.
It is located approximately 800 m off the coast of the island of Pantelleria, Italy, and can reach 260 kW of peak power generation converted from wave energy.
