Buchan Offshore Wind has welcomed the decision by Aberdeenshire Council to grant planning consent for the onshore infrastructure of its floating offshore wind farm.

Aberdeenshire Council has given Ocean Winds consent for underground cable corridor that will connect the 2 GW project to the grid.

RWE and Masdar have received planning permission for the 3 GW Dogger Bank South offshore wind farm projects.
