Qualitas Energy, a leading global investment and management platform with a dual focus on both funding and developing renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure, has opened a new office in Munich, Germany, to strengthen its investment and origination capabilities in Germany through its sixth flagship vehicle, Qualitas Energy Fund VI (QE VI).

With a target size of €3.25 billion, QE VI will continue the firm’s investment strategy across its core European markets, with Germany expected to represent a significant share of the fund’s portfolio. Investments will be made under the Qualitas Energy brand and will build on the firm’s established track record in German onshore wind and its existing local presence in Berlin, both dating back to its entry into the market in 2018. The strategy will also retain the flexibility to pursue opportunities across other renewable energy and energy transition technologies.

Qualitas Energy’s investment activities in Germany will be led by Adrián Cabrejas, Partner – Germany & Poland, supported by dedicated local teams in Berlin and Munich. This expanded presence will enhance the firm’s ability to originate, assess, and execute transactions across the country while maintaining close relationships with developers, project owners, financing partners, and other key stakeholders.

So far in 2026, Qualitas Energy has signed two transactions under QE VI, representing 370 MW of renewable energy projects under construction in Germany. These investments reflect the firm’s disciplined capital allocation, deep sector expertise, and active ownership approach, supporting assets and projects from acquisition through development, construction, operations, and long-term value creation.

Qualitas Energy’s continued investment activity under its own brand follows the launch of Navaris, the dedicated German renewable energy company, which brings together the portfolio, pipeline, teams, and operational capabilities established in the country through Qualitas Energy Fund IV and Fund V.

Adrián Cabrejas responded: “Germany remains one of Qualitas Energy’s core investment markets and will continue to play an important role in our sixth flagship fund. Our established presence in Berlin and new office in Munich strengthen our local presence and position us to identify and pursue compelling opportunities across the country. Building on our extensive experience in onshore wind, we will continue to deploy capital alongside strong local partners while remaining open to other technologies that can contribute to Germany’s energy transition.”
