A Presidential Permit from the US Department of Energy has been granted for the New England Clean Energy Connect project, which will see hydropower generated in Canada being transported to the US.

The Suedlink powerline project will transport renewable electricity from Germany’s northern offshore wind farms to the south of the country.

The company has begun informal consultation on its proposal for the Rampion 2 wind farm.

2020 brought solid growth to the renewables sector, and European Energy foresees the same for 2021, with plans to expand solar and wind energy capacity.
