Full Circle secures full-scope O&M contract with NTR for wind farm in France

Full Circle Wind Services has secured a five-year operations and maintenance (O&M) contract with NTR, a leading European clean power transition investor and asset manager.
The agreement covers five Nordex N90 turbines at the Momerstroff wind farm in the Grand Est region of France, with a total capacity of 12.5 MW. The turbines, which have been in operation for around 20 years, will be supported under a full-scope O&M contract.
In addition to Full Circle’s standard O&M services, the contract includes a targeted retrofit programme aimed at extending turbine lifetime and improving availability. This includes the installation of condition monitoring systems (CMS), upgrades to internal control systems to improve pitch system reliability, targeted enhancements to converter systems – including cooling and protection improvements – and the implementation of automatic lubrication systems across key components.
The agreement additionally includes curtailment and negative price management. As periods of negative electricity pricing become more common across European markets, Full Circle will manage turbine operations in accordance with grid requirements, including reducing or pausing generation when necessary. This helps the customer avoid penalties while maintaining efficient performance.
The Momerstroff site is in an established region where Full Circle already operates a growing fleet of Nordex turbines. The company currently supports 14 turbines in the surrounding area, with further projects expected to strengthen its presence in the region.
Phil Goleby, CEO, Full Circle, commented: “This contract reflects both the growing focus on extending the life of existing wind assets in France and our own growth in the French market. Our strong local team and expanding fleet in the Grand Est region put us in an ideal position to support owners like NTR. By combining full-scope O&M with targeted technical upgrades, we help them achieve higher reliability and long-term value from their turbines.”
Kevin Harrington, Director, Asset Operations, NTR, added: “NTR are thrilled to partner with Full Circle at Momerstroff as part of our disciplined, wind farm mid-life asset management strategy. By re-investing in our turbines, the collaborative retrofit programme (once completed), underpinned with a full scope O&M contract, extends the safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant operation of the 20-year-old turbines at Momerstroff, enabling NTR to deliver long-term returns, in line with investment assumptions.”
