Neoenergia and the Government of Rio Grande do Norte have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop studies for the production of offshore wind generation in the coastal region of the state.
Vattenfall has obtained the right to develop the N-6.6 offshore wind power project, Nordlicht II, off the German North coast after having exercised its right of entry, which once developed will have a 630 MW capacity.
