Hywind Tampen: world’s largest floating offshore wind farm opens

The Hywind Tampen wind farm was recently opened by Crown Prince Haakon of Norway. The wind farm will power, Gullfaks and Snorre, which are the first oil and gas fields in the world to receive power from offshore wind, reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

 
 

Global OTEC and ENOGIA partner to develop OTEC plants

Star of the South confirms support ports

Star of the South has confirmed that both the Port of Hastings and a Gippsland port will play important roles in the proposed offshore wind farm’s construction and operation, with an estimated 200 long-term jobs to be created in Gippsland.
